Recycled Denim Pillows with Pockets

After being inspired by sweaters I thought it was time to do something with the old jeans that were piling up.  I knew I wanted to make pillows, and then I came across a picture of a pillow with a remote pocket.  Perfect!  A few hours and 4 pairs of jeans later, they were done.

No more wondering where the remote is…..

Good afternoon, Andrea! I took the VIA Rail train from London to Windsor yesterday evening and am visiting my family until Monday evening. It’s my first visit since Bruce’s 70th birthday in March!

Wow…Your creativity and talents never cease to amaze me! I like this latest sewing creation of yours. You are so resourceful! Your mother must be so proud of you!

Hey, Andrea, do you have a good recipe (yours or someone else’s) for pumpkin pie? If you do, could I request that you create a pumpkin pie recipe blog post? Remember, I’ve always loved pumpkins (looking at them). I noticed “Pie Pumpkins” at the grocery store the other day and I was thinking about trying to make a pumpkin pie. I never bake, but I think I’d like to do a baking experiment. You are my cooking/baking role model, so I’d really appreciate your effort!

Hmm….pumpkin pie. I used to have a tofu-based recipe that I loved but haven’t made in years. I’ll see what I can come up with!
