Pattern Rescue – A great Idea!

When I was doing a Google search for something completely different, I discovered this amazing sewing website (don’t you love it when that happens?)

It’s called Pattern Rescue, and it is a place where they collect, complete, trade, and give away vintage sewing patterns.

Have a pattern that is missing pieces – they will find the pieces for you.  Have old patterns you don’t want anymore – trade them in for something different.  Inherited a huge stash of patterns you won’t use – donate them and leave a tribute to your loved one.

Check it out!  http://www.patternrescue.com/

Thanks for the link — what a great site! Also, I wanted to let you know that I finally tried your guacamole recipe last week — yummy… Although I think I was a little overzealous in my lime forking, so it was a bit tart. 🙂 So a thank you for the recipe as well.

Glad you enjoyed it! Definitely fork to taste….and good reminder for me if I’m making the guac for a party – not everyone likes it swimming in lime juice! 🙂

No, I’m not in Newfoundland but New Brunswick. I have yet to visit Newfoundland myself, although I hear it is beautiful!
